Light rain occurred in various areas of Karachi, resulting in a cooling of the overall weather in the city. The meteorological department has predicted further rainfall.

According to the meteorological department, clouds poured rain over Karachi in the early morning hours, with a recorded rainfall of up to 2 meters in the vicinity of University Road. The series of light rainfall is expected to continue intermittently until the afternoon.

Those reporting the current weather conditions state that the minimum temperature in Karachi is 15 degrees Celsius, while the current temperature remains at 17 degrees Celsius. The humidity in the air in Karachi is 61 percent.

It is noteworthy that Chief Meteorologist Chaudhry Islam, addressing the residents facing challenges due to the dry season, has delivered good news, stating that rain is expected to start in the last week of January.
